Meet Bruce – Your Future Best Mate!
Bruce a 18-month-old stunning Beardie Huntaway X.
He is gentle, affectionate, adores cuddles and just wants to be by your side.
He is an intelligent dog with a great recall—though sometimes, life is just too exciting, and he might need to be called a couple of times. He’s house-trained and crate-trained, often heading into his crate on his own at bedtime.
Toys are a new discovery for Bruce. He loves a good chew rope or a Kong toy—these need to be tough as he can destroy softer toys.
Although Bruce hasn’t been around children in his current foster home, he has interacted with them before and is incredibly gentle—even when taking treats. He’s a sweet-natured boy who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, including a 12-week-old puppy he was fostered with at one point.
He’s been fostered with a cat, and several other dogs has met chickens (which he ignored), and sees sheep, cattle, horses, and goats daily. He responds well to commands and will come away when told.
Bruce would thrive in a home with lots of attention, regular walks and interactions to keep his young mind stimulated. He’s a big dog with a bark to match, though he only uses it when he’s excited or off on an adventure.
He travels well in the car, sitting quietly in the back, and is always ready for the next adventure.
Bruce takes daily joint supplements and this would need to continue along with a structured exercise plan.
If you’re looking for a devoted, cuddly, and big-hearted companion to share your life with, Bruce might just be the one. We’d love to see him find the loving home he truly deserves.
Bruce has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and is currently registered.
He has an adoption fee of $350 and, as with all of our foster dogs, we’ll require a vet reference and property inspection prior to adoption.
