About Goose:

Goose is a small, female Border Collie, 2 years old.

Description:

Hi I’m Goose, because I’m a goose! I love belly rubs, long walks and fetch. I am super playful with my 8-year-old human brother and 2-year-old GSP dog sister. But I will also just flop down for hours quite contentedly at my human Mum and Dad’s feet. I just like to be around folks as often as possible.
I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat, which means I can be very loud and defensive when someone comes to my house or approaches my human Mum that I don’t know. It can be a bit intimidating, but I’d never bite anyone. I just need a safe well fenced house, lots of attention and some training.
My new family love and would like to keep me, but I snuck out and chased the lambs in the paddock next door. I’m in big trouble with the farmer and so need a new forever home :(.

A bit about Goose’s personality:

We rehomed Goose, this energetic and cuddly border collie about 4 months ago. She loves nothing more than a belly rub and fetching anything – especially pinecones.
However, we live in a forestry block next to a farm and with lambing season Goose has been naughty and gotten loose in the paddock and attacked lambs.
She is very loving and fun with our 8 year old boy and our other dog a GSP. She’s well behaved, except when she’s really interested in something and can be stubborn.
Once used to someone Goose is your friend for life, but she can be very fearful and territorial, which makes her bark and growl at strangers on her turf or when they get too close to her human mum.
