A bit about Jed’s personality:

Meet Jed, a young Huntaway about 2 and a half years old.
He is looking for a new home due to no fault of his own, there has been a change in circumstance in his current home.
Jed is great on the lead, has good recall off the lead and basic commands, such as sit and down.
He loves a good chew toy, but knows not to destroy soft toys, he will chase and retrieve them when thrown.
He gets on great with other dogs, has been around cats, he will chase them if they run but will come away when called. He has not been around chickens.
Jed has not been around children, so may not be the best fit for families with small children.
Jed can be a little nervous and reserved when you first meet him but is very gentle and affectionate, a complete sweetheart. He will need some time and patience to warm up to new people and surroundings and doesn’t like time on his own much, so someone around most of the time would be great. He is more confident around women than men.
A rural home would be ideal for Jed with room to burn off some energy, another dog for company and reassurance would be ideal. He has the big Huntaway bark and enjoys letting the world know he’s excited, so town life probably is not for him.
He is real softy, loves affection and enjoys his head and ears being stroked. He seeks reassurance by placing his head on your knee or pressing against you. Sleeps inside at night, he likes to be where you are, on a dog-bed at the foot of the bed. But be careful, he loves his home comforts and will sneak onto the bed beside you at night given the chance.
Also, a good traveller when he goes off on adventures, especially if he can stick his head out of the window.
Jed is toilet trained, desexed, vaccinated and microchipped
If you feel you can give this handsome boy lots of time and affection he would love to hear from you.
