About Jip:

Jip is a medium-sized, male Heading Dog, aged 6 years old.

Description:

Jip is a 6 year old heading dog who sadly has had a working career ending injury with becoming 70% blind after pushing through a fence by a number 8 knot with a long tail and getting it impaled in his eye. He is now completely blind in that eye, but now his other eye is getting worse, a year on from his original injury.

A change in my job has meant I can no longer keep Jip.  As he is not working full time and spending his days in run while the others go to work isn’t fair on him . Jip will still follow the quad bike and work sheep going through gate ways and navigate the world around him reasonably well as long as he’s not running or it’s too dark .

I am hoping for him to go to a home that will care for him and love him as much as I have.

Is Jip used to children? Yes.
Is Jip used to cats? Don’t know.
Is Jip toilet-trained? Don’t know.
Is Jip used to stock? Yes.
Is Jip used to chickens? Yes.
How well does Jip get on with other dogs? Great.
Jip lives in Feilding, .
A bit about Jip’s personality:

Jip is a sweet natured dog that loves attention and pats. He is good with all other dogs as he has always been worked in a team of 4 plus dogs. He is good with children.
