About Kate:
Kate is a medium-sized, female Huntaway, aged 1 year old.
Description:Meet Kate, a 1-year-old Huntaway who I am unfortunately needing to re-home as she is not going to suit what I need out of a Huntaway. Kate must go to a soft-handed and female as she is a soft dog who responds best to calm handling. While she isn’t going to make it as a cattle farm dog, she would be very well suited to someone on a lifestyle block or equally just as happy to have a chill pet life. She is not a high-energy dog, very happy to just chill.
Kate has a very friendly nature with people she knows and loves attention and pats. She is scared of males. Gets along with all dogs. She has a reliable call back, knows sit, and is good both on and off the lead. She is spayed, registered, and has had her first vaccination. She is not microchipped, as this is not required for working dogs.
Around stock, Kate will bark when asked but is otherwise sensible. She is quiet in the kennel and around the house and is not a nuisance barker. She will bark at people she doesn’t know. She does not wander — she is regularly let out around the house and will always stay within the house paddock without leaving the property. Kate would suit someone looking for a loyal companion with light or no work, and in the right home, she will thrive.
