About Lace:
Lace is a medium-sized, female Heading Dog, aged 11 years old.
Description:Lace is an 11yr old, un-spayed heading female, quiet loving nature, keen as a baked bean to eye and work stock, would suit small lifestyle block with a few sheep. Will follow you around all day, would make a great best friend.
Lace was previously up for adoption on here back in January but while waiting for a trip to her new home she became very ill. $3000+ later she is all better (abscess found and treated). During the process of finding out what was wrong, Xrays showed that she has arthritis in her spine so vet suggested no jumping up on quads/utes etc and only light stock work.
I took her off a farmer who was mean to her, and while I’m happy to have her here, I have no sheep just a horse, work from home at my desk all day and she is bored and starting to get sad 🙁
Every morning she bounds around thinking were going outside to work, but then she is disappointed, doing this to her day after day is breaking my heart. She loves attention, loves to be brushed, sleeps inside at night. She has had a tough life and I’d love to find her a loving home where she can brighten up someone’s day and happily work a little mob of sheep for her last few years – she deserves that.
Is Lace used to cats? Don’t know.
Is Lace toilet-trained? Yes.
Is Lace used to stock? Yes.
