About Lace:
Lace is a medium-sized, female Heading Dog, aged 7 years old.
Description:Lace has been my working heading dog for a number of years now but sadly due to a injury she hasn’t had much work for a while. She can still run and walk okay, she just can’t do big days of work on the hill anymore. She’s a beautiful natured dog and is very loyal but quite insecure and timid. She loves pats and just always wants to please. Ideally she would suit a small farm where she can still move the odd mobs of sheep and ideally be an only dog for someone where she gets lots of attention. Only want the very best home for her otherwise I will keep her. I still use her the odd time for work. She has all the commands with left and rights and walk up, just not a very good stop. Because she’s been off work for so long she gets very excited. Very strong eyed.
Is Lace used to children? Yes.Is Lace used to cats? Don’t know.
Is Lace toilet-trained? No.
Is Lace used to stock? Yes.
Is Lace used to chickens? No.
How well does Lace get on with other dogs? OK.
Lace lives in Woodville, North Island.
A bit about Lace’s personality:
Very friendly towards humans but other dogs she can be a bit stand off ish. Would prefer her to go to a home where she’s an only dog and gets lots of attention and can still be out working then and again.
