A bit about Meila’s personality:

Meila is a sassy wee girl, full of energy. Loves to cuddle up with you at night. But also seems very independent through the day.

We don’t know much about Meila’s history. We’ve only had her for a couple months. The lady we got her off said she was on a farm but she wouldn’t do what the farmer wanted fast enough so he was going to shoot her. Her partner took her from the farm & they were fostering her, they only had her for about 3 wks. We saw her on fb.
When I took her for a vet check she had no microchip so there was no record of her. I got all her shots done plus wormed & flead.
We haven’t registered her yet as we were seeing how she would go with us.
We live in a lifestyle block 20mins south of Oamaru.
We have sheep & she definitely has it in her to want to work them but we can’t have her off leash because she takes off & doesn’t come when we call her back or whistle. We are fully fenced & have gates on the driveway but she finds a way under the gates & keeps running.
We live on state highway 1 so it’s a real worry for her. We feel for her being on a leash or chain or inside all the time & she can’t just run around freely.
