About Murphy:
Murphy is a medium-sized, male Border Collie X, aged 1 years old.
Description:Murphy is a 10 month old Border Collie x currently being fostered by Allsorts Dog Training. He is a lively, confident boy. He embraces life but has clearly had very little input from humans. He loves people and other dogs, but sometimes lacks the skills to know when enough is enough. He is a bit of an escape artist, so secure fencing is a must. He loves one on one snuggle time, and is currently learning how to fetch a ball and swim. Murphy loves being out and about and would make a fantastic active companion for someone with the time to invest in him as he has lots to learn. He does jump up and mouth a bit which we’ve been working on, so not suited for those with young children. He could easily live with another dog as he loves to play with them but it would need to cope with his enthusiasm. He would need to be managed around cats and livestock until he learns more as he is a herding dog by nature and does show interest but has had no formal training in this area.
He is a fun boy with a zest for life who has lots to give for the right person.
