About Pip:

Pip is a medium-sized, female, Heading Dog X puppy, aged 10 months.

Description:

Pip is a 10 month old heading/huntaway cross, reluctantly being rehomed.

She’s a very sweet, affectionate, happy girl, bred from two top dogs, but didn’t take to work on farm – adopted by her current owners and adapted to be an in house pet.

She’s very smart and well trained. Knows all commands and generally obeys (her new owners might have made her a bit soft!!). Needs a bit more training, but nothing of consequence.

She’s energetic and agile and very beautiful in looks and personality.

Unfortunately her new owners do not have a fenced property and she’s needs that with room to roam. Her owner has also recently suffered an injury and is unable to provide the exercise she needs.

Is Pip used to children? Yes.
Is Pip used to cats? Don’t know.
Is Pip toilet-trained? Yes.
Is Pip used to stock? Yes.
Is Pip used to chickens? No.
How well does Pip get on with other dogs? Great.
Pip lives in Paekakariki, .
A bit about Pip’s personality:

Pip is generally happy and lovely – she’s a little bit afraid of small kids if they’re boisterous and in her face but has adapted, older children would be fine – she loves people just not little yelly ones. She loves dogs and is good with all of them, has not been tested with cats or chickens. She does chase birds but is really smart and learns fast – when she was first rehomed off farm it took one day to get her into the house and eating treats and sleeping on her ortho bed 🙂 Her farmer bred her from their top dog but didn’t complete training, so she could work but may have been spoiled with special beds and inside treats. She is not yet speyed, and has just been through first heat. Loves the car, will sit beside the car hoping to go out! Has been left at home for an hour here or there, just settles. Amazingly athletic so might be good at agility. Her owners would prefer a local rehome.
