About Pixie:
Pixie is a medium-sized, female Heading Dog, aged 4 years old.
Description:Pixie is a 4 year old heading dog. She is a happy, friendly dog who isn’t cut out for working large mobs of sheep as she lacks confidence. She is ideally looking for a home on a small block where she can still move a few sheep as smaller mobs are where she is most comfortable.
She isn’t always very friendly with other female dogs as she can be quite dominant. She currently lives with 3 other dogs and when they play she can become over the top and this is often when the dominance is shown. But would happily live with one other male dog.
She is very affectionate and just enjoys being around people and has good commands and good recall.
This is a very reluctant decision but hopefully, this change will allow her to thrive.
Is Pixie used to cats? No.
Is Pixie toilet-trained? Don’t know.
Is Pixie used to stock? Yes.
Is Pixie used to chickens? No.
How well does Pixie get on with other dogs? OK.
Pixie lives in Rotorua, North Island.
