About Polar:
Polar is a large, male Heading Dog X, aged 5 years old.
Description:Polar is heading dog x kelpie.
He is a very special boy but doesnโt fit in with all the working and hunting dogs at home. Heโs failed at hunting, he gets lost every time, I think he liked to hunt fairies not pigs. Heโs had a go at working cattle and sheep on the farm, he doesnโt get in the way but is not very keen at working either, he does like to eye sheep though. He is good with other dogs and loves puppies, he also likes a bit of a play with a squeaky and a ball. Rides the quad and hops on the back of the Ute or in the back seat. Has been inside on the lead but is not house trained, heโs been to town and taken into mitre10 and is very well behaved. He couldnโt be trusted to be left around chooks but has very good ears and if you tell him no he will leave them. Even though he was a pig dog he lives with pet pigs at home and doesnโt chase or grab them. Heโs used to sheep and cows and does like to eye them but will leave them alone if you tell him. Heโs very fit and healthy, will eat any food and is tidy and quiet in his kennel, heโs a registered blood donor at the vets. The only thing he needs health wise is sun protection for his eyes and ears in summer. He would really love a older kid to take him on adventures such as fishing, mountain biking, rabbiting, visiting open spaces or hiking. He has such a nice nature and just wants the pet life. Itโs sad leaving him home when I go to work or out hunting. Heโs good with kids but hasnโt met small kids before.
