Roxy is an approximately 8 month old Heading X Huntaway. This pretty, happy young girl loves people, is friendly, likes to play and really enjoys a good game with another dog.

Roxy’s basic obedience is ok but she still has a little bit to learn with her training and manners. She is clever, sweet and enthusiastic, so will enjoy the learning. Clean in her kennel but hasn’t been inside a house yet, she would be good in a crate. Roxy does seem to use her nose a bit, so could be a candidate for scenting.

We have not tested Roxy around cats, but she has met and been good with a range of dogs and has not yet shown any interest in sheep. Would be best suited to a home with bigger children as she is still young and bouncy.

If you are an active person/couple/family looking for an adventure buddy, Roxy would love to hear from you. Bonus if you have another playful dog or are home a bit during the day. Because she is a young working breed dog, she will need a good amount of exercise and something to keep her clever mind busy.

Roxy has been vaccinated, microchipped and registered. She is not yet speyed, so new owners need to commit to doing this when she is old enough. As with all of our foster dogs, Roxy has an adoption fee of $350. Once we receive proof of desexing, we will credit $200 back on to her vet bill. Potential new owners will need to have a property inspection done and we will ask for a vet reference.
