Meet Lucy, the Loving Lap Dog!

Lucy is a super affectionate girl who loves people and dogs alike! She’s best suited for homes with bigger children, as she can get a bit overexcited and knock smaller ones over.

Lucy adores playing with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion who can keep up with her energetic playstyle. She’s respectful of grumpy older dogs and will leave them alone if they’re not interested in playing.

While Lucy loves meeting new dogs, she can get a bit vocal on walks and may require some extra training to focus on her handler. She’s not suited for dog parks due to her hit-or-miss recall when other dogs are around.

Lucy gets along great with parrots, rats, and is indifferent to cats (although we can’t guarantee her behaviour around felines). She’s toilet and crate trained, knows basic commands, and has good manners inside the house. Despite her estimated age, she still has lots of energy.

The ideal home for Lucy would be a townhouse with a secure fenced section. She needs a stock-free home and would love to have lots of adventures with her new family!

If you’re ready to provide a loving home for this sweet girl, we’d love to hear from you!

Lucy has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and is currently registered.
She has an adoption fee of $350 and, as with all of our foster dogs, we’ll require a vet reference and property inspection prior to adoption.
