Tip is an 8-month Heading Dog X who is an absolute delight to have around, he is
curious and confident in new situations. Happy to approach strangers and other dogs when out for walks, investigate new noises and object.

Recall is good for one so young, and other basic commands are progressing well, also doing well with lead training.
He is house trained, sleeps in a crate, loves toys and games of fetch and playing with other dogs on the property.
Tip is always looking for the next adventure and loves his walks and trips to the river for a swim with his mates.

He would fit well into a family who are active who can take him out and about, have room for him to run around and keep you company while doing the chores around the place so he can burn off the energy and give him the stimulation he needs as a young dog so a home with another dog as a playmate you be great for him.

He has not been around children in foster but wouldn’t think there would be any
problem. Tip is being fostered on a lifestyle property with farm fencing and gates with no issues of trying to escape, he has free run during the day with the other dogs while his foster carer works from home for a few hours a day.

He is interested in the cat, sheep, cattle, horses, and goats he sees each day but willcome away when told to leave.
He is great when travelling in the car, sits quietly in the back.

Health Note: Tip has a congenital issue affecting his front leg. He’ll need a reassessment by a surgical specialist in Feilding at 10-11 months old, which may or may not require surgery. Rest assured, RWD will cover the immediate and follow-up (6 months) costs if surgery is needed. For more details, please email us.

Tip has been vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and is currently registered.

He has an adoption fee of $350 and, as with all of our foster dogs, we’ll require a vet reference and property inspection prior to adoption.
