Lass is an absolute sweetie who loves attention, especially from men! She has really bonded with her foster Dad and loses it with excitement when he puts his “cuddle clothes” on. She’s always up for an adventure, loves going on car trips, bush walks, and beach trips – we have only had her on lead though as she is very growly with other dogs, and tries to chase them when their back is turned. We’ve had success with a slow introduction to a friend’s old collie, who she tolerates. We think she needs to be a solo dog, or it could maybe work with calm dogs and slow introductions. She is always excited to meet new people, and tries to approach every person when she is out walking. She has such a gentle nature and is such a great companion.
Lass does not really enjoy being around small children and has growled at a toddler, so we would like a home without small children.
Lass is looking for a cat free home, although she hasn’t been too worried about walking past cats in the lead.
We think she would be perfectly content as a town dog as long as she has plenty of outings. After a big walk she spends the rest of the day in bed, which is her favourite place (other than in her foster Dad’s arms ) Lass would also love a lifestyle block to stretch her legs, she seems to be very active and loves a good run.
She has previously lived on a farm and been fine around stock, she loves to chase rabbits but has good recall.
House and toilet trained, fantastic indoor dog who really enjoys the cushy lifestyle.
Lass came on heat while in foster so cannot be speyed for another 2 months. Once we have proof of desexing we will refund $200 off her adoption fee.
She is vaccinated, microchipped, has been flea and worm treated and is registered. Lass has had a full physical exam including blood tests and is in good health.
She has an adoption fee of $350 and, as with all of our foster dogs, we’ll require a vet reference and property inspection prior to adoption.
