About Tess:
Tess is a medium-sized, female Heading Dog X, aged 2 years old.
Description:Hi, I’m Tess and I recently turned 2!
I’ve grown up on a sheep and beef farm.
First thing on my day’s to-do list… spin round and round – woohoo!
I’m full of beans in the morning – full on and jumpy – my owner says.
That’s because starting a new day is GREAT!
Especially if I get to swim with a doggy pal – that’s my FAVOURITE thing.
I’m also partial to grabbing a log and running round with it!
I get along swimmingly with the dogs on my team.
We all head out to work and I follow behind the sheep.
With good recall and some basic commands under my belt, I show SOME interest – but my owner says I’m not willing to go out and around though.
I just love herding them up! She says I’m a bit of a know-all.
We get along real well – my owner and me – but she thinks I’d be happiest with pet life.
Daily company with my person, on a lifestyle block, where I could run, play and lay around all day.
She says I’d be fine living with other dogs but even better on my own – hogging the attention!
She says I’m very bonded to my person and extremely loyal.
If I see my owner from a mile away, I’m THERE!
I can slip through gaps in my gate but only use my escape talents to get to my owner, when she’s out in the yard.
She says to tell you I’m not desexed or micro-chipped, as I’ve never tended to wander.
I’m great with people – especially kids. I love hanging with them. I’ll take all the pats, thank you!
My owner says I might be a bit too bouncy for young children.
If new people come to my home, I’ll suss them out, then they’re a friend. I’m not territorial.
I haven’t met a lot of new dogs but, when I do, I’ve bonded quickly. I scope them out for five minutes, then we become buddies.
I’m yet to meet cats and chickens.
My owner says I’m quirky, loyal, loving and I make her laugh each day.
Just an awesome pal to have around, she says.
So if you’re looking for a full-of-beans girl that loves splashing and bouncing her way through life, that could be me!
