About Tess:
Tess is a medium-sized, female Heading Dog cross beardie, 8 years old.
Description:Tess is a beardie cross heading dog. She has a gorgeous nature and was a working dog for our son on our dairy farm when she was younger. But our son left dairying and so she was only working in the spring moving calves and then that work stopped for the last 4 years so she has struggled. We have leased our land so would like to re-home Tess where she may get to do a little work and be loved.
Is Tess used to children? Yes.Is Tess used to cats? Yes.
Is Tess toilet-trained? Don’t know.
Is Tess used to stock? Yes.
Is Tess used to chickens? No.
How well does Tess get on with other dogs? Great.
Tess lives in Pahiatua.
A bit about Tess’s personality:
Tess is very gentle and can be slightly timid at times. She loves lots of pats and knows all the basic commands. She does love to work with calves and she did use to bring our dairy herd from the paddock to the shed, but that hasnโt happened for the last 6 years. She would make a great companion to someone looking for a friend to hang out with.
