Wolfie is a medium-sized, male Kelpie, aged 2 years old.

Description:

Wolfie is a Blue Heeler x Kelpie. He spends his days trying to “herd” our aviary birds and shows a desire to work. Our environment is not right for him. He has anxiety and with 6 kids and aviary full of birds, this house is just far too busy for him. He is crate trained and up to date at the vet. He isnt fixed, has been suggested that getting him settled in a new home first would be ideal, fixing him now could make his anxiety worse. When hes scared or overly excited he has been known to pee. He is given multiple rests in his crate during the day just to get him to relax otherwise he would be on the move all day.

A bit about Wolfie’s personality:

Loud bark when strangers approach or walk past. But happily welcomes people as they come onto the property.. Will shake his paw before eating always and if our other dog has food left in her bowl, he will sit and wait to get a paw shake and ok before eating the leftovers. Loves cuddles and doesnt show any aggression to other dogs. Can be a bit timid, scared, nervous. But with the right person Wolfie will thrive.
