Now, Iโ€™m growing into a playful Border Collie X boy with a curious nose, a wagging tail, and a heart that just wants to belong.Every day, I chase my ball until my legs canโ€™t go any faster. I watch the cows and horses with wide eyes, wondering what it would be like to herd them (I bet Iโ€™d be good at it!). When Iโ€™m done exploring, I love nothing more than flopping down at your feet and soaking up all the love I can get.Iโ€™ll be honest โ€“ Iโ€™m still learning. Car rides? Not my favouriteโ€ฆ yet. Chickens and cats? Havenโ€™t met them. But I am really good at sitting, lying down, coming when called, and waiting by the door when I need to go outside. Iโ€™m crate trained, toilet trained, and I adore kids and other dogs.Sometimes, new people or new things make me nervous. Blade is a beautiful gentle soul, a quiet dog that doesnt cause a fuss, who has been working hard all his life and now at 10 years old, deserves a place where he can hang up the working boots and relax. He had a injury from a bull over a year ago that has left him not mobile or fast enough to work stock anymore and needs to fully retire. He does love to go for farm tours or come out and fix a fence. Bolt is a medium-sized fun-loving puppy who adores attention and loves playing soccer โ€“ heโ€™ll even have a game by himself!Heโ€™s a 10-month-old huntaway/heading cross. He was vaccinated as a puppy and has had a couple of worm treatments since then. His local (Whanganui) registration is paid for the next 11 months. Once adopted he will come with a lovely kennel, dog food, lead, worming tablets etc.Bolt was born 1/12/24, so his 1st birthday is coming up soon. He is full of energy and would suit a loving home with plenty of room to run around and continue with ongoing training. Im a happy 10 month old heading dog on farm in Invercargill but I really dont want to chase stock so its time for me to leave!Im excited for a pet home - actually Im excited about life in general. Beautiful Bayek is a 5 year old huntaway, a farm fail in his early years. He is a very energetic boy and would do well in an active rural lifestyle setting. He loves going to the beach, river and walking adventures. He is a very smart boy who will adapt well with the right training and routine.Bayek has a timid personality at first, but warms up quickly with reassurance, but is very submissive. Its urgent now as my foster mum just cant keep me anymore and Im not really suited to her town life. Six months ago, I was just a tiny pup with big paws and even bigger dreams. Now, Iโ€™m growing into a playful Border Collie X boy with a curious nose, a wagging tail, and a heart that just wants to belong.

Every day, I chase my ball until my legs canโ€™t go any faster. I watch the cows and horses with wide eyes, wondering what it would be like to herd them (I bet Iโ€™d be good at it!). When Iโ€™m done exploring, I love nothing more than flopping down at your feet and soaking up all the love I can get.

Iโ€™ll be honest โ€“ Iโ€™m still learning. Car rides? Not my favouriteโ€ฆ yet. Chickens and cats? Havenโ€™t met them. But I am really good at sitting, lying down, coming when called, and waiting by the door when I need to go outside. Iโ€™m crate trained, toilet trained, and I adore kids and other dogs.

Sometimes, new people or new things make me nervous. But when someone is patient with me, my cheeky side shines through โ€“ and then I canโ€™t wait to be your buddy.

I imagine a home where I can run, play, and maybe have another doggy friend to give me confidence. A family whoโ€™s active, loving, and ready to keep teaching me as I grow.

Right now, Iโ€™m being fostered in Whangฤrei, but Iโ€™m ready to travel anywhere in NZ if it means finding my forever people.
