About Luna:
Luna is a medium-sized, female Border Collie X, aged 2 years old.
Description:Hello! My name is Luna. I am a Border Collie/ Bearded Collie cross. I am gentle of character and a bit clumsy with my legs (I am still growing!)
My humans have me as one of their pet dogs, and I have been loved my whole life, which makes me love cuddles and playtime. I need affection and time with my humans, and I can see they are having trouble keeping up with me.
I grew up around pet sheep and chickens. I know to leave them alone, but also….. I loooove herding them – sometimes I do it right. I am really good at doing what I am told and I learn very quickly. I need a lot of activity to satisfy my brain and use my energy.
I am a people dog. I love humans and I am always happy to be in their company – the more the better really. Sometimes big men scare me a bit, and I need a bit of time to warm up to them.
I would be very happy with a human who can take me around everywhere in a farm, and let me help them out with work. I would also be very happy in a household with a family that loves doggy family members and can give me their time in exchange for my devotion.
I know some commands already, and I absolutely love my training sessions – they are happening less often though; I think it has to do with my humans being a few more than before. On that note, I adore the little humans! I am very good at being gentle when I smell them, and sometimes I get a bit excited about them and do crazy zoomies.
I like other dogs, and I am naturally submissive. My best friend Rumplestilskin and I often play tug-rope together.
My humans are very sad to be writing this for me. They love me and want the best for me – they have accepted they can no longer provide it.
Please, if you are considering adopting me, understand I need attention and love. I will in turn provide you with loyalty, affection, fun and all the cuddles you could every want.
