About Bessie:
Bessie is a medium-sized, female beardie huntaway X, aged 1 years old.
Description:Hi, I’m Bessie. I’m a just-over-1-year-old beardie huntaway cross, living in Waipawa.
My farmer says I’m “a smiley girl, friendly and very soft-natured.”
I am also OBSESSED with water.
Yip, I’ll happily take myself off to a nearby dam and try and get others in for a swim too!
I’m a quiet girl, in general, but I always yap a little to start the day.
I can’t help it. Life’s great and I feel like celebrating!
Guess what? Being on the farm’s fun but I have ZERO interest in working stock.
I come to work with the team each day.
I love running behind the quad but I leave the hard work to my friends.
Being lovable, loyal – and lazy at work – my farmer’s hoping to find me an active PET home.
I’m an easy girl to have around but, I’m young and energetic, so I need to keep my mind and body busy!
That’s where swimming comes in.
Any beardie fans near a beach or river that find me irresistible?
I’m a fun girl to have round. I love meeting new people and hanging with kids is the BEST!
I have yet to meet cats but I could easily live with chickens – I’m used to them.
I could easily share my home with doggy mates but on my own would be fine too.
So, if you’re looking for a fun-loving carefree beardie – that loves getting her hair wet – with a true zest for life – why not talk to my farmer?
