***RWD Foster Dog***

Introducing Ash! This lovely older girl is a serious snuggler, and has adapted to inside-pet dog life wonderfully.

Ash is an 8 year old speyed female heading dog, who’s career was cut short when she injured her back leg. Despite her owner doing all the right things, the leg was not able to be saved, and Ash came to us.

Although she is no longer able to work like she used to, Ash still enjoys being active and does love a good play. She can be a bit picky about her playmates though, so we feel it’s best she finds a home with a young male dog who she can mother (she really enjoys this) and chase around the place. She does tend to be a bossy boots with other females.

Ash is also obsessed with cats and will spend her whole day following them around, so a home without cats is best. She has been absolutely fine with stock (likes to watch them through the fence) and chickens. She has not met children in her foster home, but given her love of attention and cuddles, she should be fine.

If you have a lifestyle block, a young male dog looking for a companion, and you do fun things like beach walks on the weekends, then Ash would love to hear from you.

She has a dental appointment coming up to remove a tooth, so will be available to go to her new home mid to late December. Ash will have an adoption fee of $250.
