About Bindi -RWD Foster Dog:
Bindi -RWD Foster Dog is a large, female Huntaway, aged 5 years old.
Description:Bindi is a 5 year old speyed female Huntaway who is looking for a very special home. This beautiful girl has had some tough times in her past, and as a result she needs a person who is committed to building a close bond with her.
Bindi loves other dogs, and plays really well with them. She needs a home without children as they make her anxious, and would do well with a person who is kind and gentle, and home as much as possible. Once she knows you she is very affectionate.
Fine with other animals, will herd stock but if growled she comes back and puts herself to bed. She would most likely also chase a cat that ran, but once again does not need much telling off to come back to her bed. Bindi has not been an inside dog but will learn.
Needs good fencing and preferably a home in the country as town will be too busy for her.
We have had Bindi on anti-anxiety medication, and it has made a huge difference in her fearfulness. She has gradually been weaned down to a very low dose, but we are keeping her on it for the time being as it takes the edge off a scary world for her.
If you have the time and patience to connect with this gorgeous girl, and a quiet home with lots of love, please get in touch with us.
Bindi is speyed, vaccinated, microchipped and registered, and has an adoption fee of $250.
As with all of our foster dogs, we require a property inspection and a vet/council reference.
