About Dora:

Dora is a medium-sized, female Heading Dog X, aged 1 year old.

Description:

Dora is a 12 month old heading dog x border collie who is not interested in her proposed career as a pig dog.
She would much rather help with moving stock or cruising around with you.
Unfortunately we already have 3 underworked working dogs.
Our hope is that Dora will find a home where she can either be taught to be a heading dog (as she does show signs of being strong eyed) or cruise about on a lifestyle block as a companion or a mate for another dog/s.
She mostly ignores our toddler, won’t dare look at the chickens, gets on with the other dogs, is used to a pet kid goat playing with her, she is not inside toilet trained as she is used to being in a kennel with her coat on at night.

Is Dora used to children? Yes.
Is Dora used to cats? Don’t know.
Is Dora toilet-trained? No.
Is Dora used to stock? Yes.
Is Dora used to chickens? Yes.
How well does Dora get on with other dogs? Great.
Dora lives in Motueka, South Island.
A bit about Dora’s personality:

Comes across as shy and a bit reserved to begin with but will soon be your friend and want all the attention. She is still young so can be a bit bouncy and would benefit from some training on manners. Willing to please and knows that no means no. She’s very fast and loves to run all day.
