About Luck:

Luck is a large, female Huntaway, aged 6 years old.

Description:

Hi, I’m Luck. I’m a spritely 6-year-old huntaway, living on a farm in Waipawa.

I’m a girl full of love! I simply adore people.

I also get along great with my fellow doggies on the farm.

Sadly, when they all head to work, I must stay behind though.

You see, I do tend to enjoy chasing stock… a little TOO much. I’ve never hurt any animal though.

My farmer hates leaving me out of the group. He works long hours and knows I love being a part of things.

He tries his best too. He sets special time aside for us to take walks together each day.

He does feel though, that since I love being round people so much, I’m destined for PET life.

He’s hoping to find me a fully fenced home – without the temptation to chase stock – with loving and kind people, where I’ll be pampered as I deserve.

I haven’t met children, but my farmer thinks, with me being a spritely lass, I’m best homed with older kids.

I don’t want to accidentally knock over the tiny ones.

I’ve yet to meet cats, so not sure how I’d be, sharing a home with one.

As much as I love being round people, I do get a little shy and overwhelmed, at times, in crowds.

Did I mention though, that I come out of my shell when a motorbike’s around?

I LOVE running alongside my farmer when he’s on his bike.

I could chase him round all day!

Even if I hear the bike, from MILES away, I’m THERE – ready to join the fun!

My farmer thinks I’d be happy sharing my home with doggies, or living solo is fine too.

He’d really love me to be someone’s fishing buddy, so I could spend time running along the beach or river!

I’m not a picky eater either. My farmer says I eat my dog biscuits “like a vacuum cleaner.”

Oh, and I must let you know that I’m not spayed.

So, if you’re looking for a sweet loyal girl to share your days with, please consider ME.
