***RWD Foster Dog***
If you have a (very large) hole in your life and a (very large) empty space in front of the fire, then Ruby would like to introduce herself ❤️
This beautiful gentle giant weighs in at 42kg, even with one leg missing! She may look tough, given her size, but she is the softest, loveliest smoocher and is looking for a very special home.
3 year old Ruby injured her leg really badly on the job, and unfortunately it had to be amputated. She is doing very well in her new lifestyle as a tripod, and is ready to find a family of her own.
Ruby is great with dogs (apart from small fluffies who she isn’t that keen on), fine with cats, and loves children and affection. She is speyed, chipped, registered and up to date with vaccinations.
Her foster Mum would like the following boxes ticked in a new home:
🐾 A warm and comfy bed to prevent pressure sores, and help slow down the onset of arthritis
🐾 A family where someone is home basically 24/7, or is able to take her to work with them. This dog is too special to sit at home alone all day!
🐾 Someone prepared to feed her the best food and supplement her joints. She is large and will most likely get arthritis earlier, due to extra pressure on her remaining 3 legs. She also needs to be kept in a lighter condition to help protect her joints.
🐾 The time to take her for controlled exercise daily, she is not going to be a running or cycling buddy anymore. She also needs space to move around freely at her own pace.
🐾 A lifestyle block or rural property where she is not confined to a small back yard.
🐾 Someone who will love her and give her the amazing retirement that she deserves.
Ruby will have an adoption fee of $250. As with all of our foster dogs, we will require a property inspection and vet/council references.

We have added this facility to help volunteers when preparing displays, leaflets or flyers. You can now print any "Dog for adoption" ads in a standardised format, that gets the main information across. If you have any questions about using or improving this facility, please get in touch.
