About Sam (Samantha:
Sam (Samantha is a medium-sized, female Heading Dog, aged 9 years old.
Description:Sam has been a working dog on a cattle farm. She hasn’t worked cattle consistently for several years and has lost a bit of confidence. She is a little timid but loves working. She is well behaved, returns on call and goes out on command. She will also work sheep. Loves chasing rabbits (yet to catch one) has been taught to ignore birds but would also chase cats (again yet to catch one). She is affectionate and does not wander. She is an outdoor dog and is used to being taken to the beach and to our holiday home when we had one. Well behaved with other dogs, and sits next to me on command. We are leaving the farm and although Sam does not need a huge space she would be happiest in a family environment.

A bit about Sam (Samantha’s personality:
Sam is a little timid, is quite cuddly when she gets to know you. Is a little lazy and enjoys sitting next to me on the seat in the quad bike rather than running. Is happy as long as she has someone around and is used to being outside in a kennel and run. Would benefit from having a full time Mum.
