About Sam:

Sam is a medium-sized, male Heading Dog, aged 2 years old.

Description:

Sam hasn’t seen a child since he was a pup, he was great then but it has been 2 years, if reintroduced well he should be great. He has never been near chickens, as he ignores ducks, swans and pukekos I believe he would have no trouble learning they are a “no-go”. As he lost his eye when he was attacked by another dog he is a bit wary of new dogs but once he realises they are no threat he is brilliant. Sam is used to all ages and sizes of dogs.

Is Sam used to children? No.
Is Sam used to cats? Yes.
Is Sam toilet-trained? No.
Is Sam used to stock? Yes.
Is Sam used to chickens? No.
How well does Sam get on with other dogs? Great.
Sam lives in Wanganui, North Island.
A bit about Sam’s personality:

Sam unfortunately lost his eye and this has really ended his work life. He gets extremely confuddled when he realises he is missing stock on his blind side. Also only having his blue eye now also seems to have affected his eyesight for spotting sheep well at a distance. Sam is a very friendly, happy boy. He loves being with people. He is intelligent and loves making you happy.
