About Skate:

Skate is a medium-sized, female Heading Dog, aged 3 years old.

This is Skate- she has a heart of gold! A young heading dog that is just not bold enough for stock work. She is a little sneaky and can’t sit still- unless she is sunbathing or gets cuddles.
Beautiful young lady but very timid at times and needs time to warm up to humans and other dogs. Once she feels safe she is lovely to have around.
We have large and small dogs on the farm a cat and horses that she is all fine with.

A bit about Skate’s personality:

Skate is a very loving but timed dog that needs some time to trust you. She is like a large puppy at times- gets easily side tracked by smells and noises while training but always trying hard. Loves running and and getting pats, many pats. She gets worried when voices are raised and forgets that you are not hurting her. Therefore someone with great patience would be great for her. A home that is active and teaches her that life is not all that scary.
