Storm is a medium-sized, female, Huntaway X puppy, aged 4 months.Description:
🐶Puppy “Storm” is ready for her forever home🐶
Storm came to our care just over a month ago being a very timid girl. The day we picked her up she went on her big road trip to Palmerston North with her foster mum Darcy who we reached out prior knowing that Storm will need to be in care of the experienced foster family who is willing to put time and training into this timid pup. After a good month of TLC, slow introductions to human touch and other animals Storm is ready for adoption.
Here is a quote from Storm’s foster mum Darcy:
“ Storm is a cheeky and curious pup. She loves going on walks with her older foster siblings, bowling through the grass and following right up their tail. She spends her days playing with her foster sister, stopping periodically for snoozes, or sometimes to just sit and watch the world go by. She is learning to love affection and will accept a scratch behind the ear or a stroke along the body. Her new owners will understand that things may progress slowly in the beginning, but in the right environment she will absolutely thrive and be a normal, happy dog. Her ideal home will have another dog that she can play with and learn about life with, and calm, understanding owners, who are keen to continue her training and give her positive interactions with the world. She loves to sleep in her crate overnight (and boy she snores!) and will sometimes go there when she is feeling unsure (it’s her safe space). She is currently living with 5 free range chickens, 2 sheep, 3 dogs, and 1 toddler. She is toilet trained and knows her name, she comes when called.”
Lovely Storm is just over 4 month old, Huntaway x Staffy. She is fully vaccinated, regularly worm/flea treated, microchipped and NZCAR registered.
