Sweet little Peggy is a 4.5 mth old, huntaway/heading x puppy. UPDATE: We’ve had an overwhelming response to Red, thank you all so much! Please bear with us while we work through getting in touch with everyone. At this stage we won’t be taking any further applications for foster or adopt ❤️🐾

🐾FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT 🐾

Red is a lovely little blue heading dog aged 7 years old, who did a spectacular job of breaking her back leg while working, and has been signed over to RWD.

This little cutie has just had her leg amputated and is looking for a foster home (or a foster to adopt) so that she can recover from the surgery and learn a bit about pet life.

Currently, Red is in Feilding with the awesome team at Totally Vets Feilding who did her surgery and are taking great care of her ❤️. We would love to find a foster home in the lower North Island but would be open to slightly further afield for foster to adopt.

Once she’s healed, Red may be a useful mate on a smaller block as she has voice commands for working, but she’d also make a great pet. We don’t know what she is like with cats/kids/chooks but her previous owner has said she has never been an issue around stock.

Oh my I have two old ladies both 14 ,me and hubby have both agreed when they pass before we commit to a new dog fostering is the way to go for a while, we have heading dogs which I adore .
