***RWD FOSTER DOG***

Bryn is an approximately 10 month old Huntaway X

He adores people, has no problem with someone giving him a pat while out walking. Loves other dogs and tries to interact on meeting them, but is submissive, just wants to be everyone’s mate. He has found his match with his foster brother, nothing better than a good wrestle while waiting for breakfast and chasing magpies together is great fun, and that’s before the morning walk.

Bryn’s basic obedience is ok, comes straight back when called, knows what ‘’No’ means but still learning to sit for longer than 3 seconds. Does not jump up, is very enthusiastic about most things, so will enjoy learning.

Not good being outside at night on his own, found this out the first night in foster, howled all night, so the next night brought him in a crate in the house, all good ever since.

Fine around cats, has not shown any interest in sheep, cows, horses or goats. Chickens, learnt very quickly they are not to be chased. Respects farm fencing.

Bryn has not been around children yet, but as very young probably not best around small children.

He would be best suited to a rural home as has the Huntaway bark, with someone at home during the day or another young dog to play with, and being a young  working breed needs lots of stimulation and exercise to keep him busy.

Bryn is castrated, vaccinated, microchipped and registered. As with all of our foster dogs, he has an adoption fee of $350. We will require a property inspection and a vet reference from potential adopters.
