A bit about Misty’s personality:

Super pretty and clever Misty is looking for a home as a second dog. She loves the company of other dogs and a playful canine buddy is a must for her.

Misty identifies as a cat. She can be very affectionate but only on her terms; if she’s in the mood for some love she will happily greet her people, but otherwise she plays very hard to get. Always excited to see visitors and then after they’ve settled in she’s lost interest. For some reason she adores children and they will always get her love. She’s very easy to have around and gets on with every dog she meets.

If you are looking for a dog to keep your current dog company, then Misty would be the perfect fit. You’d want to have a thick skin and a good sense of humour, because her disdain for her people can be hurtful at times.

She’s toilet trained, has excellent recall, is fine around chickens. Inclined to chase cats and stock so a home without these is preferable.

As well as being emotionally unavailable at times, Misty also does not enjoy car trips or being on a lead. Luckily her recall is great and she doesn’t go far when you’re out and about.

Misty has been speyed, microchipped, vaccinated up to date. As with all of our foster dogs Misty has an adoption fee of $350 and we will require a property check and vet references from her potential adopters.
