《RWD FOSTER DOG》ROSE - 3 YEARS OLD - FEMALE - HUNTAWAY - FEILDING Rose is a beautiful girl that is looking for a rural pet home. This lovely girl is sweet and affectionate, but can be a little nervous of loud noises and sudden movements. She'd be much more comfortable in a home with bigger kids or no kids. Great with all other animals, stock proof and house trained. If you can give Rose the home she is looking for, please fill in this form:bit.ly/RWD-ADOPTIONFor more information about Rose and to see more photos, please check out her ad:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/rose-feilding-2/
UPDATE: both dogs have adoptions pending ❤️🐾Abby and Bet are two beautiful girls looking for a female shepherd (together or individually). Their owner is very sad to see them go, and only wants the best home for them. These two have worked and have voice commands, but have been out of work a little while due to owner’s health. They would love someone to bring them back into doing what they enjoy.https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/abby-and-bet-eketahuna/
Maggie is stunning looking huntaway cross, approx 18mths old. Maggie is after a new home . Unfortunately living in suburbs she is needing the space of a farm or lifestyle block and the company of another dog/s. She has a lot of energy, smart, quick to learn and eager to please. Please contact her owner:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/maggie-whangaparaoa/
🐾FOSTER HOME NEEDED-FEILDING🐾Brax is an absolute sweetheart, the happiest, waggiest creature. But he is also a ratbag who does not like to be contained, and is very talented at removing himself from any form of cage or crate.Unfortunately for him (and us), he needs to be on strict cage rest for the next 4-6 weeks while he recovers from a pretty epic orthopaedic surgery 😅We would be very grateful if some lovely person who works from home would like to offer Brax a spot where he can be tied up in sight of his people, so he can chill and feel like he is a part of things and let his leg heal!He is actually very happy to lie around if he is tied up near people. We will provide all food, vet care and be on hand to support his fosterers. He will need to come back in to Totally Vets Feilding regularly to have X-rays and check his progress (and to lose his boy bits). He is good with other dogs, not worried about cats, and loves people. If you are in or near Feilding and would be able to help us with Brax, we’d love to hear from you! Please fill out this form: bit.ly/RWD-FOSTER
ADOPTED! 🐾🧡Tess is looking for a rural retirement home, she has a gentle and steady nature and is good with other animals and kids. TRANSPORT NEEDED: Pip is looking for a ride from Palmerston North (or nearby) to Tauranga (or as close as we can get her!)Is there anyone travelling this way who would be willing to take her with them? She has never been on such a long journey before, so would probably be best suited to travelling in the canopy of a Ute or in a crate in the car. If you might be able to help, please contact Natalie on 027 453 0622. Thank you! ❤️🐾🙏
URGENT rehome needed - if you can help contact Tauranga pound.Sharing on Behalf of Tauranga Pound who are urgently looking for a foster or forever home for two year old Uncle Ken: https://www.tauranga.govt.nz/living/keeping-animals/missing-and-found-dogs/dogs-available-for-adoption

Unfortunately he has caused some issues in his current foster home by fighting with the other boys (he doesn’t let his age hold him back 😅) so we would also consider a foster home for him while he waits for his family to find him.To apply to adopt this handsome older boy please follow this link:https://bit.ly/RWD-ADOPTIONTo offer Rick an all expenses paid (by RWD) stay while he waits for his forever home, please follow this link:bit.ly/RWD-FOSTERTo find out more about Rick, please check out his ad here:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/rick-feilding/

Hello dog lovers. If you are in Martinborough this weekend we will be back at the Martinborough Fair - craft fair and market on Saturday. A shout out and giant thank you to South Wairarapa Rotary for the spot. We have some more goodies to raffle including our very pupular hamper (much appreciated by our last winners) and a $100 voucher for Smack Bang a barking good pet boutique in central Wellington. We will be on Texas St opposite the Mitre 10 car park and we would love to chat to you about what we do and, if it isn't too hot, we always love to see our Retired Working Dog graduates if you live nearby. Please don't take your dogs around the Fair though - it can be very busy.
UPDATE: an incredibly generous human has covered this gorgeous girl's surgery costs! We are truly grateful. Gloria is super cute, eager to learn new things, and very clever. She is looking for an active home that will keep her mind busy.https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/gloria-taumarunui/
🐾Looking for a foster or forever home 🐾Elliot hasn’t made the cut as a working dog, so now he’s on the hunt for an active pet lifestyle.Currently in temporary foster in Whanganui, we’d love to talk to you if you’d be interested in offering him an all expenses paid (by us) stay at your place in longer term foster, or if you’d like to meet him and see if he’d fit as your family member.Elliot is affectionate and eager to please. He enjoys playing with other dogs but sometimes misses social cues with other male dogs and can be pushy. Female dogs seem to love him!Would not put a foot wrong in front of you with stock or chooks, but could potentially get carried away if no one was watching, so for this reason we’d prefer he went somewhere away from temptation. He’d love to be someone’s running buddy, go for weekend adventures and get out regularly for walks. If you could offer a foster home in the lower north island, or a forever home anywhere in the country, please email Natalie at retired.workingdogs@gmail.comhttps://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/elliot-whanganui/
