Tiff is an approximately 9‑year‑old, medium‑sized female Heading Dog with a gentle heart, a cheeky spark, and a deep, unwavering love for her people.

This extra‑special senior girl is affectionate, funny, and clever, with a devotion that runs so deep she loves being close to her humans almost more than food (and that’s saying something). Tiff has retired from her working life and is now searching for what she truly deserves — a calm, loving home where she can finally slow down and be cherished.

Her perfect days are filled with gentle, short walks on soft grass, relaxing car rides, sunbathing in warm patches of light, carefully measured snacks, and endless pats — ideally while being reminded just how wonderful she is. And yes, she would very much like to be right by your side for all of it.

Tiff has arthritis and spinal spondylosis, both well managed with medication. She may limp at times, but she remains happy, engaged, and eager to enjoy life. She will need ramps or steps, as jumping isn’t good for her (though she’ll always try), and an attentive guardian who understands pain management and weight control so she can stay comfortable and content.

She knows her basics — sit, out, come, and leave — and while she’s very clever, she’ll admit those commands work best with a little treat involved.

Tiff would choose a quiet, loving home with someone who wants a true constant companion. She isn’t a fan of being left alone, though she will settle with time and reassurance. Sudden movements and loud human noises make her uneasy, but she copes well with everyday household sounds — vacuums, food processors, chainsaws, and even thunder don’t bother her.

When meeting new dogs, Tiff can initially be protective of her space, but once she feels safe, she’s just fine. She would love a calm, gentle canine friend to share quiet playtime with. Her experience with children is limited, but older, quiet, and respectful children may be suitable.

At bedtime, Tiff has one firm request: sleeping with you or right beside you is strongly preferred. She feels safest and happiest when close to her person.

Tiff might look like a sweet, sensitive old soul — and she is — but she’s also determined, intelligent, and fiercely loyal. Her love runs deep, and she will give her whole heart to the person who chooses her.

She is desexed and house‑trained.
One important note: no cats or chickens, please.

Tiff is truly one of a kind, and she deserves nothing less than the very best — a home that will love her deeply for the rest of her days.

Please only apply if you’re ready to commit fully… and love her endlessly.
