Ollie is a 10 year old beardie huntaway who has been a very loyal and excellent working dog for his owner but unfortunately is no longer fit for a working lifestyle so is now looking for a new relaxing home.Ollie is a very well mannered and enthusiastic dog, who’s always got his tail wagging. He’s kind hearted and gentle. Ollie loves a pat and a swim in a trough on hot days. Ollie would still love to be chasing sheep around the hills but unfortunately just can’t anymore and therefore, sadly, is spending most of his time in his kennel so needs to find a new home and a loving companion to take him on different adventures to enjoy life again.Contact his owner below:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/ollie-hastings/

Have you donated yet?Just like we find new purpose for dogs by giving them a second chance, Wool.Life and Norsewear work together, with Wool.Life repurposing Norsewears woollen sock scraps into the comfiest dog beds. Were super grateful to say weve been donated a dog bed (embroidered with your dogs name!) and a pair of socks, and every person who donates during the month of December will be in to win (if youve already donated, youre already in the draw!)🐾Donate belowhttps://buy.stripe.com/bJebJ07pl56rc0tagp2VG08

🥰ADOPTED🥰Lovely Izzy is a loyal, good natured dog. He has been his owners main heading dog for many years and now, at 9 years old, he is starting to slow down a bit and they would like Izzy to go to someone who is kind and compassionate to animals. He has a lovely personality and enjoys being around people, loves pats and kind words.Izzy is still working and would still work if required to but to be mindful of his age.Contact his owners via the link:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/izzy-cheviot/

📌Yay!! Creed has a new home💓Much loved Creed is a solidly built 45kg huntaway, roughly 10 years old. For his owner of the last 3 and a half years, he has been a very loyal and hardworking dog. As much as Creed would love to be mustering everyday still, his body just cant keep up these days. In the last 6 months Creed has been enjoying the slower pace of life, helping in the yards, doing small shifts but mostly sleeping in the shade under his favourite tree on the lawn.He is the most gentle soul and just loves being part of the family. He is kenneled overnight and during the day is left loose at the house where he happily stays. His owner would like him to go to a home where he can enjoy the same lifestyle, to a lifestyle block or small farm where he can live out his days lounging in the sun and enjoying the peace and quiet rural life has to offer. NOT into town!! He will only go to an approved home. For more on Creed contact his owner via the link below:https://retiredworkingdogs.org.nz/dogs-for-adoption/creed-hastings/

We need help spreading a little Christmas cheer – would you throw us a bone? This year alone, our volunteers welcomed 114 dogs directly into our care and helped rehome more than 500 into their next best chapter of life. We’ve covered everything from desexing our foster dogs to managing complex medical care – and sometimes, helping mend a broken heart along the way. All up, this costs close to $100,000 a year to keep our dogs safe, healthy, and ready for their new homes. We couldn’t do any of this without our community. And while we know this can be a tough time of year for many, even a small gesture will make a big difference.Heres the big idea: If even half of our 45,000 followers donated $5 during December – the cost of a coffee (or a bone for the dogs!) – by Christmas wed have enough to make it through 2026. Imagine how many more dogs we could help rehome if we had that support! Many hands make light work, and even a small gesture can make a huge impact. So, will you throw us a bone? Every donation adds up. Help us make 2026 the year we rehome even more dogs.Donate here! https://buy.stripe.com/bJebJ07pl56rc0tagp2VG08

Pipi is a sweetheart who only wants to please!! She's a 5 year old Huntaway X, a small dog, like a big foxy.

Pipi is very bubbly, always happy to see you, loves cuddles, always wants a belly rub. She has a lot of energy and gets on well with everyone. She's a failed farm dog but she loves people and other dogs. She is very attention seeking and does need to learn about personal space but otherwise is lovely to have around.

If you can give sweet Pipi a new home for Xmas (there is an element of urgency here) contact her owners via the link below:
