We love hearing the stories of those who have found their best mate through RWD. Recently we got this touching message from Monica, that we’d love to share.

“Two weeks ago I said goodbye to my beloved Lex, my companion for six and a half years. I fell in love with her in 2019.. she was one in a million—spirited, loyal, and full of personality. Even as her hip worsened, it never stopped her enjoying life. We’d do our walks everyday, apart from if it was raining (she wasn’t going to get onboard with that!). Everyone in the neighbourhood knew and adored the three-legged Huntaway. She was always by my side. Life isn’t the same without her.

Thank you for giving me the chance to love such a special dog.”

Stories like this remind us why we do what we do, thanks to all those that share ❤️
Lex was clearly one special pup.

Socks is a 9 year old Handy dog that has spent his life working with bulls, sheep, and deer.

He's a very sweet boy who is looking for a slower pace in life. He would be ideal for a lifestyle block where he could do the occasional shift as he still has a lot of life left in him. He just isn't up to full days anymore. He is very loyal and doesn't like to be left behind. He is suited to a softer hand.
